Cameras from the early part of the 20th century You are in Middle 20th century cameras already Todays cameras In my opinion, the top10 from this century Various pieces that stand out My favourite Art Deco classics

This section contains amateur and professional cameras from the middle of the 20th Century that form part of my collection. The choices for cameras are debatable, however most choices in this section are cameras which show advanced construction, new materials and engineering as well as more more sophisticated shutter mechanisms. Significant engineering and manufacturing changes began to arrive near the end of the 1930's. Coated optics, invented during WWII, improved image quality immensely. After viewing the "Middle Cameras" listed below , please go to the Late Cameras section to visit the next generation of equipment.
