Zeiss Ikon Ikonta C 521/2
[1947]
IIkonta series of Zeiss Ikonta folding medium format cameras were made from around 1933 until 1960. They came in one of 3 formats - 6 x 4.5 cm, 6 x 6 cm and 6 x 9 cm, all using 120 size film. A number (3 digits I.e. 521/2, can be used to identify the name and age of the camera (go to the Zeiss Historical Society listed on my Links page)
Since 120 film is widely available, the Ikonta and sister Nettar cameras are still very usable. The post war units with coated optics produce high quality medium format images.

Zeiss Ikon Super Ikonta III 531/16
[1954-1958]
Super Ikonta’s incorporated a rangefinder and high quality lenses (mostly the coated Carl Zeiss Tessar). Synchro-Compur shutters were extremely well made and remain accurate after many years of use. The fit and finish of all parts is superb, probably the best folding medium format cameras ever made. Folded, these cameras provide an extremely compact medium format camera.
